Default 1 year old Bulldog going potty in the house at night!

About two months ago, we adopted a 1 year old English Bulldog from a friend. She adjusted well and even got along with our other dog, a 2 year old Rottweiler. The only issue we had with the Bulldog is that she wouldn't stay in a crate. Our friend told us she was crate trained and she wasn't. We left her in the crate when we went to work the second day we had her and when we came home the crate was in three pieces and she was upstairs sleeping in our bed. We can't keep her in a crate and if we try, she cries so loud the neighbors complain.
We moved into a new house about 2 weeks ago and initially there were no problems. Recently, the English bulldog has been going both number 1 and number 2 in the house at night. We always take her out before bed and don't leave any water in the room with them. I use a cleaning product (XO) to get rid of the smell every time she does it, but it doesn't seem to work. I've even tried putting them in a room downstairs, but again the Bulldog cries so loud the neighbors complain. I've even put our webcam in the room with them and recorded them all night to see what time she does it, and it's very inconsistent. I've tried waking up early and letting her out, it doesn't work either. I'm at a loss... I have no idea what to do about this and my fiance is starting to lose patience with the Bulldog. I don't want to have to give her away so please help!

Forgive me if it is so obvious you have already tried it - but could you change the time you feed her? What does she eat? Do you feed a dried food or tinned?

It does sound as though she is quite anxious. You could find that a DAP diffuser (Dog Appeasing Pheromone) would help her to relax. You can get the from vets and from most pet stores.

Outside of a dog a book is man's best friend. Inside a dog it's too dark to read!
