One suggestion I can offer and it is something I learned years ago and still due with all my fosters as well as new dogs I keep is if you have a common shampoo that you use, before the existing dogs can see the new one try bathing it with the shampoo you use on the others. This eliminates scents that the others may notice. By dong this the existing dogs only pick up a scent common to the home and helps alleviate some of the tension. Being that it is a new and different breed may still cause some problems so best to monitor their interaction and be stern with your warnings. Try introducing the new one to the existing ones, one at a time and maybe using a barrier until they feel comfortable. Good luck.

No I am not a Miniature Doberman, I was around 200 years before Karl Frederich Louis Doberman created the Dobie, and as for my friends the Manx cats, yes they are better at playing fetch than I am, I am a Miniature Pinscher. http://blackhawkkennels.webs.com/
