Default Teaching a dog to rollover

I want to be able to teach my dog how to roll over as she looks really cute when she does this.

She can do it and she does it when she feels like it, but I want to teach her how to do it from a command.

Can someone help me?

The key to a new skill is make it fun and break the skill down into its component parts. For example, rolling over requires several steps:

Lying down
Lying on side
On back
Move onto other side
Back to down position
Stand

That's how I go about a new skill.

Hey even I would like to teach my chikoo roll over. So can you give a more detailed explaination. I mean its fine to break it up like that but can you provide with more instructions on exactly how to do it. It would be really helpful.

Rolling over is the only thing my dog does!I get a treat and tell her to roll over and she will try to cheat by not rolling over properly after a few times she thens roll over properly. Now whenever she sees us getting her a treat even if we ask her to sit she rolls over.I really can't remeber how we taught her to roll over in the first place though sorry!

I was never able to get my dog to roll over. Its pretty hard for me to train him to roll over. Every time I get my dog to lay down he wants a belly rub. He doesn't roll over at all. Just lay on his back waiting for a belly rub.
