I found this fella wandering the beach about 4 wks ago, been looking after him. Since no one claiming or has reported him missing looks like a new addition to the family (me+gsd/b'collie x). They get on so well would be a pity to separate them now. Was wondering what breed he is. I've named him Chappy 'cause he's such a happy chappy :D . That picture was taken about 1 hour ago after a 6 mile cycle & 2 hours on the beach, he's getting fitter by the day, soon he'll be joining me+Relty on our daily 15/20 mile cycles. Tóg go Bog é, Take it Easy.

I got this male dog (Quincy) yesterday. He's 10 months old and is all black with 2 white patches between his front legs and a little white on his bottom chin. His ears are floppy with longer hair on them and longer hair down his back (much like a large mohawk). His tail is also long with long wooly fur on it. He's very relaxed and shy. Doesn't like loud noises. Has long legs, very quiet. His snout is very long also and narrow. We think he may be a Saluki mix but are still very unsure. Any insight would be very appreciated.

My husband brought home this puppy the other week. I fell completely in love with him. We would like to know what breed he is. :confused: If anyone out there thinks they may know what he is please let us know. THANKS

We adopted this great guy and were told he was Australian Cattle dog and Sheltie. We don't really agree with it. He is a lot bigger, about lab size.

I am not the best at identifying dog breeds. My girlfriend found a picture of this dog and she wants to know what breed it is. We are planning on getting a dog soon and are considering getting a dog of this breed. Any help would be appreciated.

She was found in a bush with her brother. I don't want to influence anyone's opinions so I'm not going to say what I think she is. Just curious how big she will be. I think she's only 6 weeks at the most and weighs only a few pounds. Any feedback would be much appreciated thanks!! :mrgreen:

hello, i rescued this dog from the streets, and decided to adopt it. I don't know much about dog breeds, and i'm curious to know which breed is him.

Hello, this is my first post here, and was hoping someone could possibly help. Annie, is our 2 1/2 yr old cockapoo, and we bred her with a purebred shitzu back near the end of September. Annie is due I think around the end of November. My question is, is there a proper name for a Cockapoo/Shitzu mix? My wife and I will probably be putting them up for sale when they are old enough to leave momma. I'm also not sure what to ask for a price, as I assume the puppies would not be pure-bred.
This is our first ever breeding with a dog so we're a little in the dark, but we have all the stuff ready for her birthing.

I have had many pets, but none since my children were born. (They are 14 and 16 years) I am considering getting a Papillon, but am very new to the breed.


There are two males available (litter mates) at 3 months old.

1. I don't have a dog park close by, nor any dogs in the neighbourhood (we live in a new subdivision and most houses aren't built yet) for a puppy to socialize with...would it be beneficial to get both dogs and train both at the same time?
2. I work from home and am usually on the phone. I cannot have constant barking. Was hoping having two would prevent the barking issues I have read about as they might be a little less jumpy about people around the house. (We currently have five lots directly behind the house and two to the side that will be/are under construction so constant trucks/builders/etc are always around.

Any advice is appreciated. I do not want to get them on the spur of the moment as they seem to be a long living animal and they deserve to be purchased only once into a forever home.

I recently adopted a puppy from a pet rescue, they believe she is a terrier mix. She is very small (less than 5lbs) and wire haired. Does anyone have any thoughts on what she could be, i'm very interested. :)

Greetings. I'm new to the board (and to doggy ownership). We are in the process of adopting a dog. He definitely has a bit of chow chow in him as he has the blue spotted tougue.

He's very mild-mannered, knows many commands. He can get excited but it takes quite a bit of stimulation. We took him to the park and he first whined and wagged his tail at other dogs, then when he didn't get a response, he started growling. He seems fine with people.

He has bunch-ie skin on the lower portion of his jaw. He also tends to spend lots and lots of time sniffing everything (more than other dogs we've known).

His ears have little extra flaps near his head.

He has a large head and a smaller body. He weighs around 50 pounds or so.

The rescue group thinks he might be part lab or shephard.

I've attached photos.

Any thoughts about what breeds he may be?
