This is my wonderful companion MJ. She will be 3 in Sept. A few months ago she was very ill and placed in UGA hospitalization isolation for pneumonia. The vet said she didnt think she would pull through it bc she wasnt responding to treatments but 5,000 later she is still here and still recovering. MJ loves all people and is in the process of becoming a certified therapy dog. I love her like she is my own daughter and since I almost lost her I never take every moment I spend with her for granted.

What a wonderful deed you have done , My people have owned a dog(s), all of their lfes and most recently helped an older man who had been given a German Shepherd puppy by them, less than a year ago (a daughter of my brother in house, Rocky ) .Baby was hit by a car that did not stop and lost part of her jaw, she was this man's best friend and only companion, she is home and doing great and I am so glad to have a the family i do ! Hi all! Yes, I love my little old lady, Billie, and consider almost human - I'm sure she understands every word I say & certainly understands what is going on & how I feel more than I probably do! She's nearly 17 years old now & I'm considering a change in my work situation as an opportunity to be around for her far more - as she is struggling with her hips and mobility. She's been there for me for 16+ years & I feel I owe it to her to be there for her now that she is less independant. Any thoughts on Buggies? Feel a bit daft considering one but she can't walk the distance to the exercise areas (or WANT to for that matter) and I think she'd benefit from being there, even if it's just for the socialisation and the smells............?

Hello there my name is Ashley and I have three lovely Monsters. My fiance and I treat them as if they are our children. Elle is 5 and is currently battling a brain tumor. Then there is Onyx who is 4 and he is just a horny little man lol. And last but not least there is sweet little Pixie who will be two in May. She is very tiny but so sweet and always has her little tounge sticking out. Thanks for letting me join the group.

Hi everyone, New to the site but boy have I got some fury family pictures to share with you all. As you will see they are definately part of the family - My Babies & I LOVE them all dearly.

I am obsessed with dogs (all animals really but dogs inparticular) I've raised many dogs and loved them all with all my heart after my last pup passed 4 years ago I had to take a break because i was a single mom with teenagers and needed to focus on them. Whew that is over and I plan on getting a couple of dogs again. first one is Bailey I was starting small and easy with what I was told was a Lhasa Apso but if you look at the pictures she definately has some kind of terrier in her. most comon oppinion is Cairn Terrier and Lhaso mix, if you have a thought on what she is let me know... Regaurdless of what she is I have her and I love her but I think she is going to outsmart me as she gets older. I want to get her into agility for mutts but not really sure where to start so far I haven't found a group in my immediate area. If you have any guess on what breed she might be or how to get started with agility please let me know. She is 4 mo old and follows all basic comands (needs a little work on recall).
