My boyfriend and i just moved in together. I had a dog(huskey and shar pei mix), he had one(whippit and pit bull mix), and we adopted one just recently(german shepherd). His dog had dominance issues, I thought we had worked them all out but now she wont eat with the other dogs. They all are on different dog food brands so in the morning and night they get five minutes to eat their food. The other two dogs understand this and have no problem, but his dog refuses to eat with them and she is starving herself. I think it is a dominance thing because if we put her somewhere else with her food she eats it at once. I don't know what to do, if anyone has any tips, please help!

Hi I have a Cattle Dog bitch (Bonnie), I got her at 16 months, she is now 22 months. I have had heelers before and instructed at dog obedience. When I got my other dogs in the past they were puppies, mine to socialize etc...easy! I am pretty sure Bonnie hadnt had the chance to play with another dog when I got her. It took two weeks to have her in the backyard with my Golden Retriever (who was attacked by Bonnie but stood up and gave her a belting!! A big surprise). My problem now is that Bonnie loses also attention when she sees a dog. She doesnt wait around to see if they want to be freinds, she goes straight for the throat. Bonnie is a great dog, fantastic with our kids. Sometimes wary of visitors but that is the breed. Has anyone got any ideas regarding socializing an older dog that wants to kill all other dogs????
