Pitbull Head Bloat

My father says that Pitbulls's heads bloat when they get older. He says that their brains swell, causing the Pitbull's head to bloat, too; causing the Pitbull pain... which causes the Pitbull to attack innocent people, as a result. He says it's a disease that ALMOST EVERY Pitbull gets when it gets older.

But of course, I disagree with this. ALL of the Pitbulls that I have met in our local dog shelter, are the sweetest dogs I've ever met. Yes, they have large heads, but that is a NATURAL Pitbull trait. I know Pitbulls have a bad history, but really???

So, do Pitbulls really have such a disease??? :roll:

I never heard of such a disease. I do know that my son's pitbull began to have headaches and was in severe pain. The vet said he had a tumor and had to be pts. Even in such pain, Rufus never attempted to attack or bite anyone. He was the sweetest more loveable couch potato imaginable.
