The name of the book is Dog Owner's Home Veterinary Handbook by James M. Giffin, MD & Liisa (lol, yes her name has 2 ii's) D. Carlson, DVM. My book was copyrighted in 2000 and at that time had sold more than 600,000 copies and was the 3rd edition---558 pages. There may well be other newer editions in the last 8-9 yrs. You might be able to find it on Ebay--newer (if there are newer versions) and this edition as well. I know they sell used books and a lot cheaper too. Just noticed on the back of the book jacket (cover) that it is a Howell dog Book Of Distinction---Howell Book House--A division of Hungry Minds, Inc.--An International Data Group Company. I just came back in here to tell you that Ebay has this exact edition for $5.93 used and in very good condition--there is a newer edition(1997 with an additional 73 pgs but it cost $34.99 (3 more authors and most are vets)--This newer one is available thru the highlighted web address above. For Ebay, put title of book in search box and books in the other search box. Let me know if you have trouble finding all this! The used one (not even sure if they are used, now that I think about it--think they are just older excess stock---There are only 7 available.
