Hello! I'm Stacie & I have 3 awesome dogs, Spike (Pit Bull/Lab), Star (Pit Bull) & Denali (Pit Bull). We just wanted to say "hi" & we are glad we found this site. It looks very fun & interesting.

We got a female puppy a week ago today, her name is Blue she is a
red nose pit/American Stafforshire terrier, shes so sweet. She is black with a white chest and grey eyes. We took her in as a foster,but decided to keep her forever! See my sisiter in law's freind had three dropped off on her doorstep, with a note that said we are 5 weeks old, I guess they figured since they had pitts the pups would be okay. Her friend could only keep one because shes a single mother and can't afford all three, so we took the female. Fast forward two weeks she is now 6 weeks going on 7 weeks old, she started puppy school yesterday and she can sit and lie down , she is one of the smartest dogs I have every met, she learns so quickly. I love her too pieces. I am glad to meet another pitt owner! Hope to talk to you again soon!

That's awesome. She's a pure AmStaf or Pit (depending on registry). Too bad someone dropped her off. That's so sad. They really are very intelligent dogs. My dog Star was "potty" trained within the 1st couple days! She was going to the door & looking up at the door knob. Of course, she still had accidents because she was only 6wks when I got her & not old enough to hold it for very long. But I love all my dogs a lot. :-D Do you have a picture of your dog? I put pictures of mine in the American Pit Bull Terrier section of this forum.

We have 5 pit/Staffs.They are registered as APBT's but are mostly Am Staffs in their pedigrees.
They are a fun breed of dog and really love to please.We are doing Obed, Conf and agility with ours.
We will also weight pull them when they are older.

That's awesome rutylr. Good luck with that. My dogs aren't registered. I got one from a lady who thought the pup's dad was a shepherd/husky/pit mix...he definately wasn't. LOL He was tied right there for me to see. He was pure, but I wasn't going to argue. I paid the $15 & left! LOL It was the best $15 I've ever spent! My other female could've been registered, but I opted for the cheaper price & didn't get her with papers. My male (as I said before) is a mix. I got him for free because the people didn't know how to train him! I think he's awesome. :-D

Oh wow! He's awesome looking! Very handsome. Is he blue/brindle? Just wondering because his muzzle looks blue in the pictures.

I loved seeing your dogs in one of the other posts! I think pitbulls are beautiful dogs, and the ones I have met they are just great! Unfortunately where we are has put a ban in the capitol against pitbulls because of the dog fights...which I find the most stupid thing EVER... Yes....these people are doing ILLEGAL things and fighting these dogs... suuure if you make the dogs they prefer illegal, that'll stop them! The city I live in is almost 2 hours from the states capitol, it's not illegal to have them here, but it is IMPOSSIBLE to find an apartment or even rent a house if you own one! SOME will let you if you can provide them with 5 references for the dog, and it wears a muzzle! its ridiculous... because of PEOPLE being stupid, they punish BOYS : mutter: idiots
