Hi Jennifer & welcome to the forum. I'm Nicole, and I have a husky mix named Bandit & a boxer mix puppy named Courage.
Bandit's name came from his eye markings, they look just like a bandit's mask, so he got named Bandit. Courage got his name from the cartoon, "Courage, the Cowardly Dog." My husband kept getting reminded of the old man saying, "Stupid dog," because Courage was always getting in everyone's way and getting stepped on, causing everyone to say, "Stupid dog." We know he's not stupid, it was just a way to get rid of frustrations over getting tripped or hearing a yelp from stepping on his tail. |
