Hello Everyone!! I'm Heather, mom to 3 human kids and our sweetie Sadie. Sadie is a 6+/- year old Lab/Shepard mix we adopted from our local humane society 2 years ago. Of course, like all rescue dogs her story is troubling. She was listed as a stray with them, though it was obvious after meeting her she was VERY comfortable with people. When we brought her home it became clear that she was not a stray, someone simply ditched her close to the shelter. She was also sick, so we spent much time with her at the vets the first bit of time home. That said, she became such a loving addition to our family immediately. Kisses and hugs, she give out constantly.
She is like another child to us. We love her dearly and are so blessed to have been chosen as her forever family.
