 We're new on the block
Hi my name is Gadget and my sister Pearl and I are new on the block.... We just moved here with our mom Dori. We thoguth we would introduce ourselves.
I Gadget am a chihuahua, I am reddish copper color and I have some tan and blonde with a lil black here and there.... I have kinda long hair. I don't have as long hair as most laong haired chiahuahuas do... I am 1 1/2 years young.
I weigh a big whopping 5 1/2 pounds... I have short legs and I think that I am the boss of the house.
My baby sister just joined our family in July. She is 4 1/2 months old and she has short white hair with some dark blonde on her back and ears. She has black patches on her skin that show through her white hair and makes her really adorable................... SSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHH don't tell her I said that...... she has freckles on her nose and on her belly.... and she is bigger then me but she will always be my baby sister... I think mommy said she weighs 6 1/2 pounds now....... she has some very long gorgeous legs...
At first when mom brought her home I was so very MAD at her..... I thougth I was never going to be loved again... I thought that my mommy replaced me with another baby... but it was a short time that I learned that my mommy didn't love me any less... she just has lots of love to give both of us. Pearl used to drive me nuts and I never wanted to nbecome friends with her... then one day we were sitting in the livingroom and she was tryin to play with a toy and she wasn't doing it right so I went over and told her how to do it...
but what really made me happy was when my mom made her sleep in her own room and not in our room with us.... on our bed..... yeppers I share my king size bed with my mom and dad...... They really have it good... because I have lots of fluffy pillows that I let them use... when I am not using them... and I have this really big fluffy down comforter that is really warm and soft that I let them cover up with when I am letting them sleep with me....
I finally let Pearl come sleep with us after about a month... but at first I had to teach her some manners and I had to show her the rules of the bed..... I am the master and she is not.... I rule my bed and share ti with everybody else.....
my mommy is really good to us... she cooks really nice food for us.... she spoils us by making us warm clothes for the winter... she takes us int he truck all the time... she even takes us up to Grandma's house.. which is a long long way away from home... I mean we have to stop 2 times at strange places so we can go potty and run around an play for a while then get bakc int he truck and go the rest of the way to grandma's house......
My mom even takes us to the park and lets us run sometimes... and she made us a really nice fenced in yard to go out in and play and potty in....
we get treats every night after dinner and I get some nummy tasting something in my cheese everynight....
