Default Chihuahua/ Shih Tzu Mix puppy

hey everyone, im a newbie. New to this site and a new proud parent of a chihuahua shih tzu puppy. I've had large breed dogs all my life and little Rosco is my first small indoor dog. He is almost 8 weeks and already a little terror. Since he is gonna be an indoor dog my and my bf are potty pad training him and we've been having some trouble. He pee's on it if u take him but not on his own unless already in bathroom. If anyone has any tips with this let me know. Rosco is also a biter. I understand hes a puppy but I dont know how to teach him not to bite people?? Again if anyone has any advice let me know.

PS. i posted pictures of my little Rosco under puppy pictures if you wanna check out the little rascal.

Of course the best way to housetrain, is to watch 24/7 like a hawk, and when you can't, keep him contained, preferably in a crate. Take to the pads or outside immediately after naps, and of course, when you release from the crate. After feeding depends on the pup, usually around 15 minutes or so, sometimes as long as 30 min. If you see him start to pace or sniff around, find a command to give, and first ask (we ask, want to go out?) then our command is Hurry up, alot of people say, Get Busy! and of course praise all proper behavior!
Good Luck, I will also try to find your pictures!

Red face advice

you can hold your hand out to the dog(wear gloves)if the dog bites you than do whatever you do to tell him "no!"
if he doesnt bite you than reward him with a treat.
about the other stuff i have never had problems with that stuff.:-|

How would you like to stop all the problems with your pet? I have some good new but it will take some time on your part. Obedience training will bring out the best in your pet.
