Well about 2 wks ago my husband and I made a trip to our local pound as we were looking for a dog... And we found what we believed to be the cutest (ofcourse my bias opinion...lol) little puppy they had... She was 8wks old and is a wire terrier/lab mix. She just looked so pittyful in that cage with her sister. She just stole my heart... As I have had dogs in the past and not done the best with them. I promised myself I would do things much better this time around... So I have gone to many sites looking up all the info I should need to take the best care of here that i possibly could... She is the sweetest little thing and apparently has taken to me well... She follows me around the house and whines when I leave and she can not come with me (which doesnt happy often). So I thought I would seek out a forums site... i figured it would help me with training her and/or any questions I might come across and yes I do have a few still....but wont go into them here.... just thought i would take some time and introduce my newest addition to our family..... Saddie is her name!

I too am new here and I also just got a dog from the shelter.
