Cool Hello

Hello everyone. Just found this forum.

I am the proud owner of Chasey, a White German Shepherd. She was rescued by Echo Dogs White Shepherd Rescue (who I happen to work with). I also have a cat, a guinea pig, and four skin kids.

Cool Hey

Hi!

What on earth is a skin kid? Do you mean like skinny pigs (those guinea pigs with no hair) or like...human children? haha

Sorry I'm clueless???

Talking Chasey

Chasey is now 3.5 yrs. I got her when she was 8 months old from the rescue that I now work with (how I got started). She had been abused, and not taught any manners, never been on a leash, etc. But we've worked with her steadily, and she's about 99.5% healed. There will always be that small memory in her (like flinching if you move too fast around her), I think; but she loves us with her whole heart, is very protective of the kids, and we of course, love her too.

The first month I had her, she broke her foster mom's wrist. Took me for a drag four times (once into a pond), and dislocated three of my fingers. She also busted through three doors in our house, one wall, and ripped the bottom panel off the main entrance door (severe separation anxiety), and killed a couple crates. Needless to say, she is very much improved now!!!

She's just another one of the family (and those who aren't animals people don't get it). We'll do whatever we need to to keep her safe, happy, and healthy, and around for as long as we possibly can.
