 Need Info aboutg Hand Stripping
We have a 20-month old Welsh Terrier (Bessie). I want to retain her breed look and am concerned about hand stripping. I would like to be able to hand strip her but have questions:
1. How can one learn to do the "vitals" of hand stripping?
2. Where does hand stripping begin and end and where are clippers used?
3. Can one do the hand stripping part and then have a groomer (who does not do hand stripping) complete the job?
4. Are there detailed instructions on how to hand strip? A video would be great.
5. I assume that hand stripping basically applies to the back, thick top growth of wirey hair, and that other areas can be clipped without undesirable results?
I would appreciate any feedback that y'all have.
