Heehee, we only have 4 hens no rooster. And the molt has lasted longer than we thought it was supposed to. Our hens are almost 2 years now, and this spring we will buy some young ones to replace a couple that we lost last year. But how are your dogs??? I know that this is supposed to be a dog forum, but every now and then it is nice to talk about our other animals also!

My Dogs are great! Duke is a Bloodhound lab mix, that will be two on April 20th, we got him from a family when he was 4 months old, cause hey couldnt have a large dog where they were living. He is a great dog, but very hyper!! he he he he!
Rocky is a 3 yr old Saint Bernard, that I got only two weeks ago! His owner was an elderly gentleman, that could no longer take care of him anymore. He has been a great addition, and i love him dearly already.
I get most of my dogs this way, i prefer to take in unwanted dogs, rather than buy. I am also a huge supporter of shelters, as i have gotten a few dogs from there as well.
I love large dogs, Growing up my parets had chi's, but once i moved out on my own, my very first dog was an abused rotti, and i have been hooked ever since, I lost my last rotti, last christmas, and have yet to have the heart to get another right away. But any large dog does well for me! But if there is ever a small dog, that needs a loving home, i will gladly welcome it! Animals are my passion.
Okay enough of me running my mouth! I am very glad to be here! y'all sound like a very friendly lot!

OMG You sound like me! I don't take in as many unwanted dogs, mine is Guinea pigs Hamsters ect. Matter of fact in a matter of weeks I will be taking in yet another little hamster, becuase a friend wond up with a very pregnant (5 babies) mommy. I am also a big fan of shelters, and often stop by to see if they have in any new fellow that would fit into my life. I did take in my aunts little dog. Anyways, welcome to the forum.
