Hi, I have a purebred Bichon almost 3 years old, and a Bichon/ poodle mix almost 5, both neutered males. For some reason, they seem to be harder to house train than other dogs I've had. I've tried the house training pads for a long time, but my boys always seemed to go everyplace but the pad. To this day, they still go on the carpet at night, but are excellent during the day. Having the dog door is wonderful. I'm thinking of pulling out the carpet in the living room, and replacing with ceramic tiles. Other than that dilema, they are wonderful and smart in most every way. Our purebred, Brady, is the best ball catcher I've ever seen. Reno loves to sit up all the time and get tummy rubs.
