Why do both my Chihuahuas have such a strong desire to lick my ears - and up my nose if they can get there ? I suppose this question has been answered a million times, but I was interested to know if this is a Chi trait, an any-dog trait, or a dominance thing? Thanks!
Dogs groom the pack leaders ears,mouth, and face to encourage him. If you do not want them to do it give them a firm touch on the neck with two fingers where the all important vein is. This is how a pack leader would tell her NO.
