Default I have a question about rough play

I have a one year old yellow lab white shepherd cross and I adopted a 3 year old rottweiler in January. My question is about rough play. When they're together, they play really rough. They used to do it in the house and knock things over but we've managed to nip that one in the bud. However, when we go to the parks, they play SO rough. I know their play is totally normal and healthy, they nip at each other's feet, roll around, growl, bark and bow. I think they're enjoying themselves but their rolling and growling is really drawing a lot of attention. I'm always embarassed and the behaviour is causing me to become a social outcast at the park! I try to chase them down and interrupt the play, but I can't catch up to them. Any ideas on how I can stop this behaviour and teach them to play nicer?

Thanks!

I agree too. My 2 Eskies play rough sometimes and I know they don't mean to hurt each other, and I kind of think it is entertaining!
