Cool site. Just the place I need to be. I have more dogs than is probably healthy, but they are my pack. I am from Kentucky, and I pick up strays. That's where all my dogs come from.

I am not a rescue, it's just that my husband and I are both childless newly weds, with a great love for dogs. So whenever we see a dog in need, we take it in for as long as we can. At the moment we have 3 dogs in the house, and two outside. Whew, and one of the house dogs is pregnant. She is getting so fat, she may have 12 more. I have got a lot of dogs! I found one walking the middle of the road, walking up to oncoming traffic and sniffing of bumpers. One I rescued from the animal shelter, because we needed a big scary one to scare away pillheads. lol Two were about to go to the pound, and we could let that happen, they were to sweet. And then... The shih tzu came from a pet shop. I know, shoot me now, I am evil. But he was so adorable. He was our first pet, and the only dog we planned on having in doors. Things didn't work out that way though... Now I am about to have Teagles! terrier/beagles. I hope they are cute. lol

Well during the day I keep the shih tzu, terrier and beagle in a large lot outside. I bring them in at night though. The two dogs I keep outside are large, and I never could keep them in a lot. They both have the ability to rip the chains out of the chainlink fence. So they are on a 30 foot cable. It's not that bad, because I have them on tree's that are very tall and shadey, and there is a creek that runs right by them they like to jump and play in. All the dogs seem to get along fine. The shih tzu was the first house dog, and he enjoyed the company of dogs over that of the company of people, so he loved having a play friend. The two boys will fight, but only if they have people food. As long as they have dog food they don't care, but if I put meat down, I have to put them in separate rooms. lol
