Hello from NJ!
We're new to this site & looking for helpful info.
We lost our beloved Simon, 11 yr. old yellow lab, almost 3 weeks ago from rapid, aggressive bone cancer. He was one of the brightest lights in our lives, and we're all working through our grief.
However, our bright light has sent us 2 yellow lab babies! Daisy & Gus.
We picked them up on Saturday and have been spending this long weekend getting to know each other, potty training and just enjoying them. Gus is 14 weeks old, Daisy, 13 weeks, and they're inseparable.
Our breeder had them crate trained, except that Daisy has been having too many "accidents". Took her to the vet this morning and confirmed she has a UTI. She's on meds and we're on our knees cleaning up piddles. Sure, it's a lot of work, but they're absolutely wonderful.
We can't help but think that Simon sent them our way.
Anyone have experience with puppy UTIs? This is our first little girl. I've read on other sites that little girls can be susceptible to them & sometimes are chronic.
