Food
Hi, we are new to this forum from beautiful San Diego. I have two labradors, Junior and Max, 9.6 and 9 years old respectively. They are just as beautiful as can be, but Max has developed a strange habit lately. That is why I joined the forum, looking for advice: They both eat raw chiken, rice and some tomato sauce. For the past couple of days Max eats the rice and tomato, but saves the chicken, and he is just checking up on Junior. When Junior finishes his food (maybe five minutes) Max then gets back to his chiken, and just holds it and keeps it. I have to order him to eat it, and then he does.
Have you any idea as to what is causing this behavior, are there any consequences for it, I don't know maybe aggression or food guarding that I should be aware off?????
Thanks so much for your help.
