Hi guys! I'm Stephanie the owner of TWO english mastiffs and one yorkshire terrier. My mastiffs are Bruce, who is 9 mths old and weighing in at 100 lbs or more, and his sidekick Baliegh who is 10 mths old and weighs just about as much as he does. Zuko, my yorkie, weighs about 4.5-5lbs and is most definately a character.

I am having a bit of a flea problem that I can't seem to contain. Bruce and Baliegh aren't so bad anymore. The only think that is knawing at me is the fact that Bruce has lost quite abit of hair and Baliegh has lost none. I rubbed them down with vinegar and out some in their water and it seemed to have helped them. Bruce actually looks better than he did, but he's still not great. Now Zuko...he's totally infested with the fleas. The vinegar didn't work on him at all. I bathe him like once a week if not more just to keep him from getting all those sores on him. I've been using rubbing alcohol when i bathe him and that helps for a few hours and then its just like i never touched him. We treated the yard with some fertilizer stuff that is supposed to kill the fleas and that has made a world of difference. Zuko stays inside and is worse off than the outside dogs. Any suggestions for any home remedies that may have worked?
