hi there
i have two lovable chihuahuas they mean the world to me. sammy, male has just been treated with heartworms and cured and hes doing awesome now. thank god. i have a little problem with his behavior too. ill get to that later. however roxy, female is a beautiful long haired chihuahua. but since the summer is here i decided to cute her hair cuase its so hot. ive noticed since then she has become alot more shy and her two favorite place to spend the day is under my bed or under my living room couch. how can i brake her out of this? second question is also she wont eat unless its out of my hand. shes also been coughing like crazy and loosing alittle wait. why and is it serious?

thank you very much for replying to my message. today i scheduled an appointment with her vet and i take her on the july 1st.
