Just dropped in and thought I'd say hello. Although I've had dogs off and on my entire life, I acquired a young lady last fall that's been my constant companion and a great friend ever since.
"Gracie" was abandoned out on on a county road (a friend saw her getting thrown out of a pickup truck and getting chased off as she desperately tried to get back in) and took her to a nearby horse stable.
As you can probably tell by my username, I'm an American Quarterhorse owner too, so that's where we met. Best I can guess, Gracie is probably an Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattledog mix. We just started mountain biking together this weekend, and she has taken to it like a natural. I'm excited because I finally have a way to get her enough exercise to wear her out!
Anyway, hello and I hope to become a regular around here.
