My name is Janis, I have 2 furkids-Doxie-a black lab/basset hound mix and Jill, a hound mix-who looks like a doberman. I will have pics next time. Both Jill and Doxie are elderly-Doxie is approximately 14 or 15 and Jill will be 14 in August. Both are either "Wal-Mart" or Humane Society puppies. I recently lost one of my "fur kids", Susie- who had just turned 12. I had to have her put down on May 5. I hope to get to know everyone!!!

welcome iam also new here as well sorry to hear about susie. my dog is called fizz she is a border collie x springer spaniel she is six she is my best friend sadly she suffers from hip displacment she had her left hip done in feb this year but she still has it in her right one she is going to hydrotherpy at the moment which seems to be helping. hope to chat to you again.

What band of Cherokee are you-the Eastern Band or the Cherokees from Oklahoma. I have worked for Cherokee Nation for 23 years. My husband is full blood Cherokee. He also works for Cherokee Nation-the same department as me. We actually met there and just celebrated our 17th anniversary on July
5th. I have been in our forums and I also feel that I am always on the outside looking in-that everyone always has their own little groups and I never seem to be able to get it. I hope (and it already seems) that this is better!!
