I was looking for a dog forum to be a part of and this one came up first.
We have Jack and Jill Terriers and live in South Louisiana. We breed the Jrt's for tempermant, and color, and participate in field trials with them.

Hi, Welcome to the forum. I am relatively new to the forum. I have enjoyed it and have gotten a lot of help and I hope have helped others. I am from Northern Michigan and am planing on getting a Silky Terrier in the Spring. I know the stud dog. I have talked to the owner of the bitch, from what she has told me there is one issue she has with her. The ears has been the problem. I gave her advice, b/c the last dog we had (Brittany) had problems and found a salution. I would clean her ears with mouth wash once a week. She never had the problem again. Also I would put cotton in her ears when I bathed her. Hope you enjoy the forum as I have.
