Hello All

I am from the UK, and need a bit of advice, my dog is in heat (a little yorkshire terrier), and she has started to howl in the evenings, and is not very relaxed...on edge if you know what i mean. She is also making deep noises in her throat and a whistleing noise. She has been whimpering a little too.
I know this is probley due to the fact that she is in heat, but any ideas how i can help her??
Does this mean she is in distress?? or is she just wanting a mate??
Thanks for any replies, i hate to think she is suffering.

One solution to fix it all up for your dog, and I suppose for your own sanity too..........Get her spayed, will fix all the problems, she will be happier, your neighbours will be happier, and you will be happier.
