Hello everyone...

my name is Joel Brown.
I am the proud owner of a 15 month old black mask black brindle Akita whom ive named Shinobi.
I am a practitioner of Bujinkan Ninjutsu and saw the name very fitting for him due to his black mask and characteristics... Between 3 months of age and now he has certainly lived up to his name lol... he's very sneaky and you could almost call him "stealthy" he will be nowhere in sight and within the sort amunt of time it takes me to open a drawer or look in the fridge, i turn around and he's sitting right behind me lol... never even heard him comming... he likes to sneak up behind myself and my wife and pinch/nip our rear end with his front teeth or sneak up behind me or my friends and starttle them/myself by doing the same pinching... The kicker is, ive watched him do it before when he thought no one was looking and he is very sneaky about it, staying low and walking very lightly... its almost like its a game to him lol...

he's a very loveable Akita, since he was a puppy i have tugged on his ears, tail, paws, ect while he was eating, i can take his food bowl away while he eats and he isnt even bothered by it, i can also take any toy or bone he is chewing on and he never even shows any type of agressive behavior when i do, only a confused look like "Why the hell did you do that?" sometimes he tries to hol don but only in a playfull manner... we give him lots of affection and he is great with people, sadly up untill recently he was great with other dogs too... we just moved and two of my neighbors dogs attacked him when we were comming home from a walk... the fight was quickly ended by me and the other dogs owners but ever since then he has been very dog agrressive... but only when the other dogs get too close to him or myself.

This is my first Akita (Previous dog was a Rotweiler) so im looking for some info and fellow Akita owners to get some advice from, he's a pretty good dog but has some habits id like him to get rid of.

He weighed 73lbs at 6 months old and is even bigger now!
