hey...so, i'm new to this thing. i'm an avid dog lover of course! i've always been a big fan of rescuing dogs who have been mistreated, abandoned or just not loved. i've been known, ever since i was a child, to just pick up strays on the street and bring them home. luckily, i grew up in a dog-loving home! if i had it my way, i'd purchase a huge piece of land and open up my own shelter and house every and any dog that needed a loving home! but since i'm not able to do that, i do what i can to help any dog in need, whether finding them a good home with me or someone else. so, that being said, let me introduce you to my dogs!!!
currently i have 6 dogs, but am willing and eager to add more! about a year ago i purchased the cutest dog ever from Petsmart! little did i know the day i went to pick up some dog food with my friend, that'd i be bringing home a little bundle of joy! his name is rosco, the name he came with. i'm not sure of his breed actually, but i think he may have some greyhound in him. he's absolutely beautiful, with a brindle coat, white markings and such great big eyes! he's still a puppy, about 1 1/2 years now and a huge part of my life. i don't know what i'd do without him!

around february of last year i found out that my friend, who raises great pyrenees, was trying to find homes for some puppies. so, i decided to get one for my step-dad. she's the cutest thing and the most affectionate out of all my dogs. we named her samantha. she's not fully white and has some grey and beige markings in different places. she's quite huge now and only 9 months! she loves to eat everything, including bugs, dirt and anything that she finds around the yard! i can't wait until she reaches full size- her daddy was 150lbs. and her mom about 90lbs, so i think she'll be a big one!
i also have a little dog named zoomer who is a schipperke. he's about 7 now. he was rescued by my mom who happened to see him being thrown out of a car window that was driving down the road. he's the "man" of the house, even though he's the tiniest! he's more relaxed then the other dogs but throw him a ball and he'll run for hours!
jenny is my irish setter who was also rescued. she's a big "baby" and despite her size doesn't mind being a lap-dog! she loves to run for hours, literally non-stop. her favorite hobby is chasing birds around the yard and basically "hunting" as her breed is known for. she's about 3 now, i'd say.

lastly, i have two harlequin great danes, bandit and duke. they are brother and sister, and unfortunately were separated at a young age and abused by their previous owners. luckily, they were sent to a shelter, reunited with each other, and now have a happy home with us! they're outside dogs and serve as great guard dogs too. despite being HUGE, they both think they're puppies and love to play, sometimes a bit too rough! if you're not careful, tails will go swinging and paws will go flying and someone's liable to get hurt! but, it's all in good fun! they're both about 5 now.
so, that's it! i love dogs, as you can see! if the future allows, i'd love to have more additions to my family! right now, i'm looking to adopt a royal white poodle. so, if anyone knows of any, please let me know!
