I just stumbled on this site via Cabela's while looking for info on Dock Dogs. I am owned by three black beauties who are Labrador Retrievers! Ben (110 lbs.) is 4 1/2 years old, Belle (65 lbs) who is 3 1/2, and Belle's baby, Jessie (4 1/2 months). Belle graced us with 9 puppies last year and 11 more this year, each litter producing yellows, chocolates and blacks, as planned. We are retired but still pretty active and these "kids" keep us that way and they bless our lives. I look forward to reading your posts. Anymore Lab lovers in Pa.?

Wow, I was so surprised how you and Belle were blessed with 20 puppies in 2 years.

We were surprised with the number in both litters. The xrays had shown only 6 puppies last year. This year, we didn't have an xray or sonogram done and we were stunned when she dropped 11 pups. She's only 65 lbs. so she was about as big as a house. No more, though - she's being spayed on 12/12.
