hey, i have already started a thread, but thought i would still introduce myself.

i live on a farm with all sorts of farm animals; cows, chickens, pigs, horses, sheep, goats, cats, and of course, DOGS! we used to have three but a week ago Thursday, our Border Collie ran away because of a thunder storm. she ran away once before, but someone brought her back within five days. i have put out flyers, called pounds, and even animal hospitals, but still have not heard anything.
we also have two Black Lab/Pyrenees, the best dogs we have had! for the exception of our purebred Pyrenees who passed away last summer. the dogs' names are Jack and Annie. out of the two, Jack i would consider to be my best friend. when i get pictures i will be sure to post them.

so there is just a small bit about me and my dogs. i can't wait to get to know you and your dogs and be able to swap stories.

Hope your border collie come home soon. You can try to give rewards for kids around to look for your dog.

thanks! and two nights ago she wandered right back into our yard, my border collie that is. we don't know where she went and haven't a clue how she found her way back, but all we know and care about is that she is home safe and sound!

Welcome to the forum! I am so happy to know your border collie came home. One of my 'babies' is a border collie/golden retriever mix. He is always trying to run off to chase the range cattle. I always worry that one day he's gonna go too far and get lost. I can only imagine how you felt when yours went missing.
Anyway, you have a happy ending! whoooohooooo!!!!
