Hi - I have a 5 year old beagle Joey and we just had our first child Tommy who is now 2 months old. Joey has adjusted wonderfully to the baby and seems to really love being around him. I was just vacuuming the nursery and noticed that Joey urinated in it. Joey is well trained and never has accidents so I was totally shocked to see this. My first reaction was to be upset, but then I got wondering could it be that he wanted to mark his territory in the babies room thinking he was protecting the baby from others or is he acting out and should I keep a closer eye on him and how he's reacting to the baby?
