Hi I have 2 dogs. Sing-a-ling my first he is almost 3 I help his mother(father-in-laws dog) give birth she ways having trouble. Then about 2 weeks ago poor little Angelean was at a home where a pit bull was supposedly atacking her. So I said I would take her and look after her. It took me 3 hours to cut the mats out. We got her to vet(who told us guess what? She is in heat) by the way sing is not fixed! We also got her groomed sing too it was time for him! I would also like to know if anyone can tell me what time of the heat cycle they mate we have done well since that visit of keeping them apart. I know by research the cycle is about 3 weeks I know she for sure has been in neat for 1/2 week. It is the beging the end or the middle? If she is preganant or gets pregnant how bad is it for a about we are guessing 8 month old to be pregnant the vet said it is not good but, if worse comes to worse will it really hurt her? please get this dog spayed as soon as the vet will do it. spaying goes a long way toward preventing cancer & other usually fatal conditions.

trust me there is no way you are going to prevent him getting to her - they are very good at that.

yes, she is much to young, she is only a puppy herself.

and he needs to be neutered as it helps to prevent cancer in males too

The funniest thing is he is geting cliped. The timing on her getting here is bad he is getting clipped next week. Then we took her in because of the care she was recieving had no plans on getting her. LOL We had decided to get him cliped because of cancer and humping issues a month ago. And his appointment is next week go figure. We plan to and was hoping to get her in to get cliped and surprise surprise we couldn't.
