Greetings,

My name is Amy. I am new to the forum. I have a litter of ASCA Australian Shepherds due in about 1 week. I am not really a novice with whelping pups as my mom raised Aussies for years. I was the one there for 6 litters, doing the hands on (when momma dog required it) and such, so I do have expierence. However, this is the first time that the momma dog is specifically mine (well, my son belongs to the momma dog, if you ask her).

Just saying hello.

Any other Aussie fanciers out there?

congrats and welcome. Actually I was raising Aussies over 30 years ago when most had no idea what they were let alone ever heard of them. I still miss having them around. These days I am finishing with Miniature Pinschers which I have also bred and raised for over 47 years. If all goes well I will be moving back to farm land again and at that time I will probably turn back to my Aussies. We have several reputable breeders in the area that sell primarily to the farm and ranch areas here in the state.
