My name is Valerie. I have an amazing dog - more like my child! Her name is Sarah. She is a 5-year old mix of spaniel, retriever and chow. She was a rescue and we brought her home 3 years ago. We have a house with 3 teenage daughters, so having Sarah is a blessing!! She's so easy to love!

She's extremely lovable but the problem is that she's very, very timid around any dogs. Even those smaller than her. She will sniff them, but as soon as they show any interest in her, she pulls away. Very anxious and fearful. After a while, she might show some interest, but it doesn't last long.

I would love it if she would be more social with other dogs. How do we do it?

Hi Valerie, seemed your dog needs more socialization. Do you considered entering her in a behavior class?

i think she need company. try giving her someone she can play with. enjoy
