as wishbone noted, rescues would be a great place to start. If you do go with a Miniature Pinscher I would recomend an older one. This breed is a terrier not a true toy breed and therefore are high energy and can be destructive if left home free to roam. They are also not a good breed for apartments as they are natural guard dogs so they have a tendency to bark at noises which generally upsets neighbors.

No I am not a Miniature Doberman, I was around 200 years before Louis Doberman created the Dobie and as for my friends the Manx cats, yes they are better at playing fetch than I am, I am a Miniature Pinscher.
