I have a black lab named Shadow and i love her but everytime my boyfriend and i leave the house she gets into the garbage and drags it all over the house. I get so frustrated! We have to put the garbage in our bedroom to keep her out of it. I think that she's doing this because we've been home so much lately and now we've gotten jobs and leave her at the house alone. Is there anything to keep her out of the trash?

Please don't let the garbage on her reach, she might swallow something and might affect her tummy. How many hours did he alone? Did you consider crate training?
