sorry but there is no such thing as a "teacup" Miniature Pinscher or any other breed. This is a name given to undersized poorly bred dogs. The name came from a photo over 50 years ago taken of a Chihuahua puppy that was so small it was placed in a teacup. The photo made national publications and the phrase was born. A Miniature Pinscher at 11 months should weigh at least 6 to 7 lbs to be healthy and following breed standard. Standard weight is 8 to 12lbs when matured at 2 years and height should be 10 to 12.5 inches. Sounds like you unfortunately fell victim to a bad breeder. Whatever you do, if not spayed or neutered, do so now. Breeding this dog which is greatly undersized by its weight alone could create more health issues than those you may not yet be aware of.
I bred Miniature Pinschers for over 47 years and still raise them and rescue them today. It is disgusting the undersized poorly bred ones I have come across. People seem to thing because the breed was stupidly placed in the "Toy" category so many years ago by the AKC that they should be made smaller than what they actually are. These are true "terriers" no different that the Parson John Russell Terrier (JRT) or the American Rat Terrier who's breed stock includes the Miniature Pinscher.

No I am not a Miniature Doberman, I was around 200 years before Louis Doberman created the Dobie and as for my friends the Manx cats, yes they are better at playing fetch than I am, I am a Miniature Pinscher.
