Mom2SOAP Junior Member Newborn Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 1	Need help training 1 yr old GR I have a 1 yr. old Golden Retreiver. We got the underground fencing, but it seems we always have a problem with it. Ran over cord, didn't work. Struck by lightening, didn't work. Had a dumpster in yard, didn't work. Latest is that it got very cold here for a long time this winter and it hasn't worked since. The dog runs off the second he is let out, so we've been chaining him up - then he barks. He pulls so bad when we're on a walk that I can't physically do it anymore. He jumps all over the kids and even walks on the baby! We're at our wits end with him because he obviously needs more exercise, but we can't take him out to play! We can't put up a fence because we back up to a wetland and pond. Any training suggestions?!?! This is our first dog.
