I am an insulin dependent diabetic looking for a service dog that will alert me to low blood sugars as I do not feel them coming on. Everywhere I have looked has been dead ends. If anyone out there can share any info it would be appreciated. I am in the Portland,OR area.

Check with your area's childrens' hospital and see who they use for therapy dogs that visit the hospital (I bet they probably have some sort of therapy dog program because kids love it!)

I know these are not service dogs, but the people in charge of the pet therapy program may have some leads of where you can find a service dog.

Have you tried to contact the American Diabetic Association? They may know of someone as well.
