Default Bathroom area suggestions???

I have a female golden retriever. We have trained her to go in one area of the back yard. I am looking for suggestions on what the best set up is for her to go to the bathroom and not have to replace or repair grass. I am thinking about making an area with pea gravel??? Any thoughts or suggestions?

Chuck

most dogs prefer to go on grass. if your problem is odor, you can lime it. that will also help support the grass health

with pea gravel, you will need to bleach it & she may not want to use it. I'd try a small spot first

We prefer grass, since we got plenty of water to wash him and usually watering the garden too. I've seen the pea gravel bath area on our neighbor's too, one even had like a beach surrounded by small rounded stones.
