Hi all

This is my first visit and post in the forum.. I am so happy I found it:mrgreen:
My name is Tracie and I live in South Florida. Last year I rescued a puppy from our local pound. He turned out to be very adorable. I figured out his breed by surfing the net.. and realised he is a Papillion.
However I have not seen ANY all black ones. Is this rare. I get stopped all the time walking him .. and people are fascinated that he is all black.
I will post a pic later.

Any comments on this.. I would love to hear from you.:-D

he may be mixed but he is not a PB papillion. he could be part long hair chihuahua but what ever he is you don't love him any less

Well finally here is a pic of Foxy. My husband thought he looked like a Fox when I brought him home .. so hence the name FOXY .. ha ha !!!
So any thoughts on viewing his pic ... if he is a Papillion mix ???

The ears have tips and Papillons ears do not have tips (points). What you have appears to be a Pomeranian or Pom mixed with a Papillon. The Pomeranian can come in black where Papillons always carry white in their coat.

You can see Whisper, purebred Papillon. If black is on this breed it encompasses the ears and mask but not the body.
