God Speed Java
Hello all,
First time to this site, I lost my beloved Black Lab this weekend, his Name was Java.
We had him for 12 years, he was a beautiful, loving and kind dog. The pain of losing him is indescribable, that I do not think I will ever get another dog.
If everyone that reads this could say a quick prayer that if there is a Heaven for Dogs that Java is there and looking down on us, I would really appreciate it...
take care of all your loving dogs, it goes fast!
Lynda

I am so sorry for your loss...I understand completley! I lost my beloved Rotty in January and I still tear up when I think of her. I do believe that dogs do go to heaven, and that they are watching us from a perch high above us. It is too early to think about getting another pet, as the pain is still fresh, but for someone who most definitly has lots of love to give, like you seem to, there will come a day when Java will send a new someone that needs what you can give them, I'm sure of it. And when that happens, you won't be replacing your beloved Java, just giving someone else a great home like you gave him. And he will know that, because the new one will be "heaven sent" straight from him. Best wishes!

What a beautiful dog. I am so so sorry for your loss. You must be heartbroken, I was when I lost my yorkie last year and I still miss him so much. Remember Java will be at rainbow bridge having lots of fun with all the other furbabies ( Including mine ) waiting till he will see you again. My best wishes to you.---Aggy

Thank you
Aggy/ladyA,
Thank you so much for your kind words, I needed that! i am sorry for the lose of your Yorkie and rotty, it seems likeyou both have moved on and now have new dogs that is great. I will wait, it is still all so new and sad for me, I can't even walk around the house with out thinknig of him, and I think I would almost be angry to have a new dog trying to live up to Java's standards.
I am sure this will get better in time as it did for both of you, I also like the vision of java sitting on a rainbow bridge waiting for me.
tHanks again
,Lynda

Hi Lynda, I think I may have confused you but I did not get Peewee after Joey passed on. I had him about 6 months before. Had I not had him I would probably have waited a while before I got another.Who know's? You do what you feel is right for you. All I can say is this--The house don't feel right with out a furbaby, running to greet you when you come in and just being a good friend who is always there for you. no matter what.-----Aggy

Such sad loss, crossing fingers for your beloved Java. Believe me, she was so happy and so thankful to have you for her entire life. She was there at the rainbow waiting for you! hugs...
