Cool A New Moose in the Group

Hey all! My name is Jordan and I joined this forum to help add to my general knowledge and to meet other dog lovers like myself. I am a dog bather for a local groomer. Though it doesn't pay much, I love my job and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I own a Belgian Malinois named Moose (age 6) and a Shepherd/Pit Mix named Shelby (age 12). Moose is my shadow and constant companion. Shelby would rather spend her day sleeping in the bathtub or the dryer. Yes... the dryer. HaHa. I know, shes an odd one. I have had her since I was 10 and the quirks are part of her charm.

They are both pound puppies. Moose was taken from his old home. He had a broken leg and foot and suffered from a very bad temper. 3 years in my home have lightened him up. You would never know that he was previously abused. Shelby was found as a puppy, tied by her tail and back legs (along with her brothers and sisters) to a fire hydrant by a chain. She walks a little funny now but as I said, her quirks are her charms!

I look forward to getting to know you guys better!

Jo, Moose and Shelby

Hello Jordan, welcom to the forum. Cannot believe how people can be so cruel to these furbabies. Who in their right mind would tie a puupy up let alone by it's tail and back legs?Makes me so mad. Anyway, hope you like it here and meet some nice people.----Aggy

Welcome to you and your "children"! Hope you enjoy this forum as much as we do! I am so glad that your dogs have a good home now. It is a shame that there are people out there who would be cruel to animals, and children (you know that if they are mean to animals, they are mean to children as well...)Anyway, glad to meet you and look forward to hearing from you in the future.

Shame on people who do that, they should get treated them the same way :-x

Anyway, welcome to the forum!
