Hi everyone,

My name is Amy, and I'm the proud mom of Maggie, a 2-year-old Aussie/Coonhound mix. We adopted her just over two years ago, and I can't imagine my family without her. We're hoping to add a new dog to our family later this summer.

I've always been a huge dog person, and have spent over a decade working in the field of animal welfare. Most recently, I've been writing about dogs. I'm interested in pretty much everything dealing with dogs from health and training to rescue and funny dog stories.
