Default Hello from Kentucky!

Hi folks! As you can guess from the room I'm in I'm new here. But even though I'm new to the forums I've been a lifelong dog lover. I have owned Australian Shepherds my whole life and absolutely love the breed. I currently have a year and a half old Aussie named Uno. I'm trying to get into the world of agility and I'm wondering if anyone here can help me out. I've been training her on some basics for now and she's picking it up really quickly. If anyone has any advice on training methods and organizations I can get involoved with that'll help I'd be really greatful!

hi there and welcome to the forum. Patience is one thing a pet owner must have a lot especially for someone who is into dog training.

Where did you live exactly? Try to find where people train their dogs for agility. Others who don't have access because of distance, buy some agility equipments.

I'm a couple hours from lexington which I know there is a bit of agility going on there. Closer to louisville though but I haven't heard of anything going on there. I've got some agility equipment that we're working with now.
