Hi,

My friends have a bull terrier that is now one year old. He is a genuinely and almost always a good dog. He has been through 3 8 week classes and obeys, does tricks, heels when walking ect...

On occasion he will go beserk and gets very violent. Its scary violent. I have seen him be so submissive while we are watching a movie and he is drifting off and then just goes nuts....also sometimes while this is happening he goes very stiff in his legs normally his hind legs.

3 months ago they agreed to take another bull terrier from an owner that could not keep it. Bella is very well behaved as well but is deaf. I mention this to be honest and also this behavior from Darius has been going on before the arrival of Bella....I am very fond of the dog and the owners very much love their pets and have invested alot of time with professional trainers..yet the trainers have never seen this behavior from him...

I am almost wondering if he is suffering from some kind of seizure or something else medical....as nothing else gives any rhyme or reason for his behavior....

Thanks in advance

That is entirely possible. They should tell the vet about the problem and have him checked out. There may be a medical reason for his behavior. Perhaps he is in pain, or has some sort of brain damage due to a stroke or other medical issue. Good luck.

Your friend's dog really need medical attention, it's the health issue. That's hard to handle and needs constant supervision.
