Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and was just stopping by to introduce myself, and my furbabies. We currently live in ohio, recently moved here from nashville area of Tennessee. At this time I only have two dogs with me, a have a shih tzu, i was never really a fan of small dogs but I found her abandonded, half starved, and so dirty i thought she was brown like 3 years ago, and she stole my heart. She has the spunk to hang in with my filas, so i couldn't just let her go. Her name is Princess Zaharu Buii, lol wonder where i got my user name huh ? My second dog would be a fila brasileiro, my absolute favorite breed in the whole world ... he's still very young he turned 3 months yesterday actually, and he weighs almost 60lbs at this point, and his name is Lord Adolwolf Von Hienrick. (yes, i am german) He actually came to me from my father, one of his bitches turned out to be a horrid mother, she had a litter or ten, and within the first 3 days had killed 6 of them, (smothered 4 at once overnight while we were sleeping,) and the other two she kept pushing away, so we kept her under constantant supervision, and on a trip to the bathroom and stepped on them... both died instantly. At this point we had had enough and started to bottle feed. I took Adolwolf as is he was the runt and needed to be watched at all times ... he ended up getting a skin infection because the mother never cleaned any urine or excriment from them ... and he was touch and go for awhile. Now I couldn't imagine being without him. He is smart even for a fila, housebroken at 4 weeks .. no I'm not lying lol, and at 12 weeks now he knows many many tricks ... he'll do anything for a biscuit!! So there you have it, those are our stories. I am still kinda new here, so if there are any molosser owners in ohio ... perticularly the fila, I would love to converse with you! I am a dog geek and always ready to talk fila !!!
